Measurement functions

Number of channels: 2 CH, Current measurement with optional current sensor.
Up to four modules of 8971 can be used with a Memory HiCorder (models compatible with installation).

*Connect the optional Conversion Cable CT9901 {converts ME15W (12pin) terminal to PL23 (10pin) terminal} in combination with the 9318 supplied with model 8971.

Measurement range

When Model 9272-05 (20 A), CT6841A is used: 2, 4, 10, 20, 40, 100 A f.s. (f.s. =20div, Choice of 6 ranges)
When Model CT6862-05, CT6872, CT6872-01 is used: 4, 10, 20, 40, 100, 200 A f.s. (f.s. =20div, Choice of 6 ranges)
When Model 9272-05 (200 A), CT6843A, CT6863-05, CT6873, CT6873-01, CT6904A, CT6904A-1, CT6904A-2, CT6904A-3 is used: 20, 40, 100, 200, 400, 1000 A f.s.(f.s. =20div, Choice of 6 ranges)
When Model CT6844A, CT6845A, CT6875A, CT6875A-1, CT6846A, CT6876A(*1), CT6876A-1(*1) is used: 40, 100, 200, 400, 1000, 2000 A f.s.(f.s. =20div, Choice of 6 ranges)
The measurable range is limited by the current sensor connected. Check the specifications of the respective current sensor.
*1: The instrument recognizes this as a 500 A AC/DC sensor is connected; setting the ratio of the scaling function to 2 is required.

Accuracy (with filter 5 Hz ON) Add the accuracy and characteristics of the current sensor used.

Measurement accuracy: ±0.65% f.s.
RMS accuracy: ±1% f.s. (DC, 30 Hz to 1 kHz), ±3% f.s. (1 kHz to 10 kHz)
RMS response time: 100ms (rise time from 0 to 90% of full scale), Crest factor: 2
Frequency characteristics: DC to 100 kHz, ±3dB (with AC coupling: 7 Hz to 100 kHz)
